My father died in a work accident working for this company and the company covered up his death and wanted us to take the blame for his death. they haven't paid us at all for the work that was done the day of his death and also told my dad's friend who would give him houses that they would not pay him for the 2 houses he did a few weeks later

I can't recommend Keith Barker Roofing enough. My Mother is alone and out of my state. After a hail storm we knew we had to do something but didn't know how. My mom found Barker and told me she wanted to use them because they were a family owned company. Through the entire process the staff knew they'd have to "hold her hand" a little bit (my mother didn't think she needed a new roof) and Shun specifically supported by Stephanie in accounting rose to the challenge. Inspection, assessment, construction AND helping with insurance claim was a breeze because the firm took the extra time to work and educate my Mom and myself as I was coordinating everything virtually.

They communicated well and I'm a little sad it's all over because I feel like they're my friends now! Keith Barker Roofing you are appreciated! You have diamond the ruff staff and it was a PLEASURE doing business with you!

Do not use this company. I spent 40 minutes walking around the house with them to get an estimate on repairing a leaky roof replacing siding and painting. Weeks later I called and asked why I never received an estimate and they said the person who took it didn't bother to submit it. They said they would contact him and get it. After nothing for another week, I called back and they said he still did not submit it but they will be happy to come back out to create another estimate.

After spending the four hour window they gave me, I called back and said no one ever showed up. They said no one showed up because they finally got the original estimate. I asked why wouldn't someone notify me instead of having me take off work and wait needlessly for 4 hours. They had no answer and no apology. Just a condescending attitude. So I asked ok so when will I receive the estimate which is now a full month and several rains later.

They said next week. It's been two weeks and I've received nothing. Any contractor that is this flakey before getting the job is a huge red flag. I have no doubt once they started the job the flakiness would only get worse. This company was wrong and rude and unapologetic all at the same time. Do not use them.

When I needed a concrete tile replaced on my roof I called a good friend who is an executive with a large, local homebuilder for a referral. He said Keith Barker Roofing (NOT Barker Roofing) was always his first choice. I called Keith Barker Roofing and they were out the next day. In less than 15 minutes they had the replacement tile installed and they were off! Best experience I've ever had with any construction contractor. Highly recommend Keith Barker Roofing for all your roofing needs!

Do not do business with these guys. Our builder used Barker Roofing to install the roof in a brand new house. 36 months later, I am selling the house and the inspection showed INSTALLATION issues with the roof, they want me to pay them $175.00 just to get on their schedule

We had our home roofed by Keith Barker Roofing four years ago and it has performed flawlessly. Very impressed with their promptness, quality of installation, and attention to detail. Not only would I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a roof installed, I had them install a new roof on my mothers house just a few weeks ago. Same great service and install as before. They were contracted through our builder on our home. During the recent ice storm we had a pile of snow get into our attic through an opening they left when they installed our roof. We had $8,000 of damage to our home because of it. They refuse to come out and correct the issue and claim they did nothing wrong. We have had an insurance adjuster and 2 other roofing companies that have told us our roof was not installed properly. Steer clear of this company!

They came out when they said they would, they were very polite, professional and thorough - they did a complete inspection of the roof and water-tested the affected area, and they fixed the problem the same day. After the recent winter storm I was concerned that my roof took some damage from the heavy snowfall we sustained for a week so I decided to call Keith Barker to inspect my roof. Keith sent a crew out once things cleared up and did a full roof walk inspection of my home. Other than minor caulking touch ups to the roof jack penetrations my roof passed with flying colors.

I had no damage to the shingles nor leaks once the heavy snow melted away. Keith Barker also did the original roof install to my home which is why I know 100% that my roof held up so well as it did. I have worked with many different roofing companies in the past as a construction manager and none come close to the workmanship and professionalism as Keith Barker Roofing. Keith Barker Roofing stands behind their work. Ten years ago Keith Barker Roofing put a new roof on our house following hail damage. The roof has held up extremely well. Recently I had a concern about the roof following hail/rain storms and called Keith Barker Roofing. Even though they did the work ten years ago, they came out and thoroughly inspected the roof. The testing they did verified there was not a problem. I strongly recommend Keith Barker Roofing.

If anyone needs a great roof company I recommend barkerroof.com they will take care of you. Note they don't do houses with steep roofing. And the owner is a wonder guy to speak with.

Do not use I repeat do not use. This company does not stand behind their warranty they're so busy they won't have any time to take care of their customers. My house is only 3 months old and my roof started leaking and yesterday storm I called that day to see if someone can come out no answer when I caught the next morning the lady told me at the front desk that they have turned my phone call over to the proper person and someone will be contacting you shortly it's been 5 hours roof still leaking and still no contact finally I got in touch with a management person and she also told me that my house is far away that they will see when they can get somebody out there if I could give it to your 0 stars I could do not put your life investment

Keith Barker Roofing did a great job on my roof. I needed a repair done quickly, as rain was in the forecast. They came out the day I called and we agreed on a price and they sent someone out the next day. WIthin 2 days I had a repair that was done professionally. They prepared the roof for the patch, hauled away all debri, and did it at my home quietly and quickly. I would recommend and use them again. Thank you Keith Barker Roofing and Solar.

I recently has some repairs done to my roof. I must say that Keith Barker Roofing staff and techs did a fantastic job. The staff did great with their customer service skills, getting me scheduled right away, keeping me updated with what's going on. Their techs did such a great job with repair that we have not had an issue since then. Thank you Keith Barker Roofing for an excellent job and I will recommend you to our family and friends

I requested an estimate on complete roof replacement from this company. The estimator was on time and quite professional. He said I should have an estimate that afternoon in my email. Fast forward 5 days. I called to inquire about my estimate and it was not completed. Fast forward another 4 days. Still not ready. I'm moving on to another company. Apparently, they don't need my business.

We have a gutter that is under warranty. The gutter is leaking at a seam. Barker Roofing sent someone out to verify the problem and told us that they would be calling within a couple of days to schedule an appointment to fix the issue. They didn't call back. It took several calls until they realized that they had already been out here once to verify the issue.

Now after several additional calls and emails we have made no progress. Barker Roofing is very disorganized and if you don't want to waste a lot of time I would recommend going with another company.

0 stars really. Worst roofing company experience ever. This company reached out to me via Home Advisor, but then took 2 weeks to come out and do an estimate. it's been a month since that visit and still no estimate. I have called, complained and requested that estimate 7 times. Nobody ever emails or calls back. They are clearly a disorganized mess.

There were some warranty issues with the roof within a 1 year total home warranty. The scheduled with me to come out and address the problems on Tuesday and never showed up. When I contacted them they apologized and rescheduled for Friday. They never showed on Friday and after I called them they said it was because they had leaks they had to fix elsewhere and would come out Monday.

It is now Monday and they've no showed again. They have now no showed on me 3 times. Each time I've had to take off work to be here for them to fix my roof. These people are horrible, unreliable and do not stand behind their work. DO NOT use Barker Roofing. It seems they are too busy trying to chase new work to take care of warranty issues. Clearly they do not stand behind their work.

I had a really favorable, refreshing experience yesterday. There are some renovations being done to the complex where we live. While working on the roof, I believed the roofers got some sort of adhesive on my car a couple of weeks ago. After a couple of calls, Tim Gandy, Commercial Project Manager for Keith Barker Roofing and Solar called and we arranged to meet.

He didn't have an accusatory attitude. He made me feel very comfortable, understood my concern, and knew that I REALLY didn't want to involve either of our insurance companies. He went to his truck, got alcohol swabs and a rag, and very carefully started to remove the adhesive (or whatever it was). It actually started to come off, but my paint didn't! Mr. Gandy didn't have to do that.

He wasn't even sure if it was his guys who got the gunk on my car. I really appreciated that and was also glad that I approached the situation in a very positive way. I was friendly to him and didn't accuse he or his company of anything. I think that really helped, too. I honestly can't vouch for their roofing work, but if they treat their customers like they treat crazy ladies who call arbitrarily about adhesive on their cars, I'd call them if I needed them.

I would never recommend this company. They get zero stars as far I as am concerned. The employees are all inept. Nathan does not stand by his work. It took them 3 tries to get the stucco color right. They never did we just settled. We needed some repair done on the stucco and they said they couldn't match it. WTH! They made the color up to begin with.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Barker Roofing. I contacted them to redo my roof after a huge hail storm. Getting them to give me a quote, and scheduling the job was relatively painless. They finished in about 1.5 days (a ~1750 sf single story), and did a pretty good job of cleaning up after themselves. No oil stains in the driveway from their truck. Overall, the workmanship seems pretty good.

I did I ask them to come back because of a handful imperfections (poorly sealed corners). They came promptly and walked over the entire roof, also identifying and fixing a few places that I couldn't see from ground level. However, shortly later, I contacted about some damage done during the shingle delivery. The delivery truck cracked part of my driveway.

I contacted Barker multiple times over three months to try to get this fixed, but I just kept getting the runaround. They told me to contact the roofing supply company, which I did, who then told me that they had talked to Barker and that Barker would be handling it from their end. I contacted Barker and heard nothing. I don't know for sure who was telling the truth, but since I have a business relationship with Barker, I would expect some communication. I've gotten pretty fed up with trying to chase this down, and I have yet to hear from them again.

So my parting thoughts are that their roofing work seems pretty solid so far (3 months later), but it seems that their stated commitment to customer satisfaction only applies up to the point that they get your money.

Everything they did looks great. They replaced the roof on my house and also the metal roof over my back patio. Unfortunately every time it rains, the rainwater backs up on the metal roof and pours inside of the patio. After a representative coming out to look at the roof and admitting to the mistake, the company is asking me to pay for them to come fix it.

After two calls to them, they will not return my calls. I finally got in touch with someone today to tell me that the owner will be there tomorrow. They have admitted to their own mistake, but will not warranty their labor or product. Their customer service is great while they are trying to get your money. However, after the initial job is done, do not expect the same.

My experience with Barker Roofing was excellent. They communicated quickly over email and phone. They arrived when they said they would. And, they completed the job ahead of schedule and on budget. There were no suprises, only happiness. On to the project. They renovated my home office by repainting interior and exterior walls, installing new wood trim and windows and resurfacing the stucco.

The proposition of having giant holes cut in my house was unnerving, but Nathan and Juan, the co-foreman, planned and coordinated the project so carefully that the new windows were installed minutes after the holes were cut. And, my walls were patched the same day, which would have prevent any rain damage. I wish every contractor had the same high level of coordination amongst their crews.

Another plus is they stuck to their timelines. When I was told, "X will happen on Monday." X happend on Monday. Everything they said happened in the order they said it would. What a huge relief. It's been 4 months since my room was refurbished and I'm still singing their praises. I highly recommend them!

Update 2018- I had my roof repaired in 2010 and I now have a leak. I had 3 different roofing companies come by and give me an estimate to fix the leak and they all told me that my roof looks good but the vents were the vents that came with the house when it was built 15 years ago. It's standard to replace all the roof vents when you replace the roof because pulling up a plastic vent that has been nailed and glued to the roof and reinstalling damages the vent.

Well duh. Barker charged me for new vents but used my old vents. I called Barker and they told me tough. My 5 year warranty ran out three years ago. So now I'm looking at $1600 to replace all my events. Do not use Barker. They're terrible.

Yikes -- thinking these people must have a business for "nothing better to do" since I contacted them for an estimate for some drywall repair & gutter work. The guy came out and went thru all the work I had and said he was only an "estimator" and the office would send me the proposal. That was 2 weeks ago and I have never heard back from them. No phone call, no email. NO THANK YOU! Eek! Methinks not :-

My one-star review is on their service, although I never got a chance to use them. I called a few months ago to get an estimate on a skylight, solar tubes and a gutter. Someone came out, took measurements and photos and said they would get an estimate to me. After two weeks, I called to see when the estimate would be coming. I was told that I would have it via email that day--it never came.

A week later, I emailed the owner, Keith Barker, and never got a response. I called again last week and asked for Keith and was given his VM. Left another message and never received a callback. Can't understand why a company would take the time to send someone out to estimate a job and then never give the estimate or return the potential customers's calls or email.

I was told they were good roofers, but based on my experience they either have more than enough work or really don't care. Am in the process of trying to find another skylight installer, but based on my experience with Barker Roofing, cannot recommend them to anyone.

OMG, total nightmare. These people were so stupid. I had a contract stating paid in full and they were still threatening to send me to collections for $900. The only competent one was their lawyer who relized I was right and it nearly came down to a lawsuit. Totally unprofessional and RUDE staff. Will NEVER recomend or use them again. After nearly a year of fighting their lawyer agreed they were stupid and dropped the collections and threatening letters etc. I wouldn't have these people put a roof on my dog's house!
