Disappointing customer service. Sometime after winter storm 'Uri', reached out for an estimate on a small job. Received a quote quickly and decided to proceed. However did not heard back from them since. Not sure if it's the timing or they're just too good for our small job. Didn't follow up since they didn't seem to need my business after all. Went with another provider last week and the job was completed today. The small job was an audition for possibly future jobs and they failed.

Derek came out, on time, after we spoke about a potential leak in my roof. He did an exceptional job explaining the problem and provided pictures to show me the issue. I appreciated that he fixed the problem without trying to talk me into getting a new roof! Quick, friendly service. Problem diagnosed and fixed in one afternoon.

Had a roof put in by Masada Roofing a year ago - they did great work. After rainstorm last week I noticed some nails on the roof and called Derek who promptly came over to the house to inspect. Turns out they were just old nails washed out of the gutter, but had there been an issue, he was ready to step up and fix it. Will continue to use Masada for roofing needs!

Derek came out the next afternoon after we had discussed a roof leak issue. He gave a thorough explanation of the problem, with pictures, and repaired it that afternoon. Very conscious of social distancing and wore his mask anytime we needed to have contact. Great service!

Derek came out to assess my roof. He had told me over the phone that if my roof did not need replacing, he would tell me. He made a thorough inspection taking photos to explain to me. I was very relieved to hear I did not need a new roof. Derek made suggestions as to what could be done to prolong the life of the roof. So great to have someone you can confidence in.

Derek came out to see the problem with my roof. It wasn't a big job so he did it himself. He did a great job. Plus he checked out the rest of the roof and went over the findings with me. He suggested some things I could do myself to keep roof rats off the roof. He was very helpful with suggestions about lighting inside my garage, what to look for on my insurance to make sure I have good coverage for my roof, etc. He is just full of helpful tips. I'll definitely keep using Masada Roofing.

Derek was very informative and was able to see from my point of view being a rental property investor.

I needed a referral for a roofing specialist so I asked a few friends and Derek was highly recommended. Now I know why! He answered my phone call immediately and was able to come out and access my problem that very day. Even though the roof itself was not the source of the leak, he still caulked the crack in the siding where the water was getting in.

He even cleaned the leaves off my roof while he was up there. Not only was he very friendly and reasonably priced, he went above and beyond the scope of his responsibilities to help me. I most definitely will make Masada Roofing my go to roofer for anything I might need in the future!

We had some hail damage to an old roof, and had some leaks. We shopped around and read a good many Yelp reviews of local roofers. While I am sure there are many reputable roofing companies in the greater Austin area, I think we certainly picked a good one with Derek Foley and Masada Roofing. For starters, many of the roofers we talked to lost interest when we insisted on new sheathing ("decking") under the shingles, making it a much bigger job. Also, Derek is very knowledgeable about the technical issues and he's very thorough.

He was always very responsive, and showed excellent attention to detail. He helped us navigate the homeowner's claim because he had dealt with the insurer several times and they knew him to be a good roofer. The job was done promptly, and they left the place spotless, even running a big magnet around to pick up all the nails in the driveway and around the outside of the house. We noticed immediately that our a/c unit did not have to work nearly as hard as before. Oh, and the roof looks great as well.

We noticed water staining on our ceiling yesterday, and called the closest roofer in a panic. They reassured us and were able to come out within the hour to check it out. And because he couldn't find anything wrong with the roof itself, he didn't charge us, but referred us to a trustworthy colleague who specializes in light tubes (which turned out to be the actual problem). We really appreciated his prompt arrival and honesty, and will definitely use them in the (hopefully not too near) future when we have roof problems!

Derek and his crew put a new roof on our house in 2009. During the Memorial Day flood of 2015, our roof began a mild leak. Derek repaired it in a timely fashion without charging us. He came out to our house recently when we needed advice. He was very generous sharing his knowledge. He warranties his work, is always very attentive, courteous and professional. We highly recommend Masada Roofing!

We had a leak in our ceiling after it rained for a week straight and my first thought was I need to get the roof repaired. Derek picked up the phone immediately (after 6pm!) and came out within half an hour. He quickly identified that the problem was actually with our AC unit, but since I already had paid him $150 for a service call he offered to remove a satellite dish that my wife had been complaining about for free, so it was not a total loss.

He also took me through the roof and the attic and pointed out some potential problems, some of which he was able to fix on the spot. Overall extremely helpful and friendly, even though it turned out not to be a roofing issue I don't regret making the call at all. Would definitely do business with them in the future.

I can't help but be uber enthusiastic about this experience, which was my first. Derek met me at my home, and did the survey of what was needed, and then we contacted my insurance company. He personally met with my claim adjuster when he showed up, and pointed out everything that needed attention. He spent extra time making sure we knew what was needed, and what will be involved with the repair.

He even alerted me to get approval from my HOA to approve a slight change in color of our requested shingles. So, I had my roof replaced today, and everything looks great! They even took the time to trim my tree so that it doesn't have the chance to damage my roof. Awesome job! The president of this company, Derek even took the time with me to review the job done, and made sure everything was A OK. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are very satisfied with the work done on our home by Derek Foley, Exteriors Rep and Sales Manager for Masada. The work performed and the corresponding prices were consistent with the estimate he provided. He was very kind, and also very knowledgeable about roofing and about home insurance. He thoroughly explained his process, finished the work in a timely manner, and even came back after the work was done to make sure we were completely satisfied.

He thoroughly cleaned the jobsite after the work was completed and made sure that no nails were left behind in the driveway! We highly recommend his services and would definitely use Masada in the future if needed.

Masada Roofing replaced our roof a few years ago and did a great job. Recently, some storm damage needed repair. I called Masada and Derek answered the phone, came promptly and made the repairs at a very reasonable cost. They do good work and take care of their customers

We had a small leak during the recent Austin monsoon rains/floods, so we called Derek at Masada. Masada Roofing put on our current roof in 2009. Derek returned our call and came out to look at the roof (and even caulked one of the joints) at no charge. The rains we had pushed an extreme amount of water in a short time. We haven't had any issues with the roof until this storm.

Called Derek last summer since I was getting solar panels installed to have him check the roof to make sure it was good for a while. The city solar rebates require a roof with at least 10 years like left I think. Was incredibly easy to work with, gave me a great detailed inspection and would definitely use him again!

Hired Masada Roofing to evaluate my flat roof after a home inspector flagged the roof covering as at "end of life". Derek responded right away to my email request, came out to my house, and presented me with 4 reasonable options. After I selected asphalt roll, Derek worked hard to schedule the installation around our unpredictable Texas weather to ensure my roof would not be exposed to rain. I'm sure Derek manages many jobs simultaneously but I felt like I was his most important customer. We scheduled two days for the project but Derek's crew completed everything in one day! Very professional. Excellent work. Great communications and advice from Derek.

We had a leaky roof. Derek came out quickly, assessed the problem, and made several suggestions. He took pictures and clearly explained what he found and gave some interesting information about the care of roofs in general. He was friendly, informative, and very reasonably priced. While he didn't do our current roof, he will certainly do the next.

Completed my re-roof at the end of March. We did this in conjunction with a claim for Hail damage and an insurance adjuster. Derek Foley met with us 2-3 times, met with the adjuster to review the damages and again with us to demo the shingles and trim. Derek is a very patient man and was able to patiently answer all of the questions/anxieties my wife and I had about the job.

The completed job was amazing. The recommended trim and shingles looked great. Now I need to make the rest of this 1978 house look as good. For energy efficiency we did elect to go with the Polaralum (liner between roof shingles and sheathing) to reflect heat away from attic. My early tests of temps in the attic indicate a 10-15 degree cooling, further tests this summer in July/August will show the results. We both were completely satisfied with the work done by Masada.

Masada got insurance to pay for new roof, when it was previously denied. Did good work. Was professional and punctual. Would use again and refer to friends and family.

We had wind damage to our roof and we decided to try Masada Roofing. With one phone call to them they took our problem away. They called before each step from estimate to completion schedule. Done on time and within budget. Price was very fair. If we need any roofing or specialized contracting our first call will be to Masada.

I've had the pleasure of using MASADA roofing several times over the last years. Not only did they install a new roof on my personal residence (very efficient, quick, professional and it looks great) -- but Derek has also taken care of several rentals that I have. Each time I've needed roofing work they are quick to respond, offer professional advise (a couple of times it's been very inexpensive fixes which I appreciate) and the Customer Service is great! I highly recommend MASADA roofing!

No Stars! Working with this company was a terrible experience. They were recommended by a friend who did not use them personally, but only spoke with the owner and liked that they were a small, local company. The owner seemed nice and competent at first, until I decided not to go with him. When I changed my mind about using his company, he did not want to give me my money back (I changed my mind that same day).

I had to threaten legal action and even then he ended up keeping $150 of the money. I pursued it a bit, but was in the process of moving and did not want to enlist the help of an attorney for this small amount.
