Had Duro Loc put a new roof on our house & after less than 2 years we found a leak. Dave took his time getting someone to our house to do the repair. When the repair was done we received a bill for over $700. Dave claimed that the stucco had worn away & that it had nothing to do with shoddy workmanship that they did. He couldn't prove it ( no pictures to show us as proof ).We did not pay the bill & the next month we received another bill with interest added on.
We told him we would not pay the bill but he kept sending us bills, each time with more interest added on. We now received another bill with a notation that he would put a lien on our property if payment was not made! If anyone is looking for a good roofing company, DO NOT use DURO LOC, Dave the owner is not honorable! If you know if anyone that needs a new roof or any other work related to a roof STAY AWAY from DURO LOC!

Wintex put a new tile roof on my home in 2011. I have had a multitude of leaks. Almost every year since installation there have been leaks in my house. The first year I called Dave back and he very reluctantly did a repair. The second year he refused to repair a leak without getting paid. 4 other leaks have developed since, and I call a much better roofer to make the repairs.
Even this year, in 2019, I have had to call in another roofer to repair the newest leak. In addition, Wintex was to re-nail the plywood during installation, which was to get me a reduction of my insurance. Wintex did not do the re-nailing. In addition, Wintex was to repair my chimney, at a cost of $600, which I agreed to and paid for. After the tile roof was complete, I went up on my roof to inspect, which he was not expecting me to do, and found that the chimney work had not been done at all. He was not very pleased at getting caught at his game of shenanigans. I am not a happy customer and suggest that you stay clear.

Do not use this company for anything but a roof. Their roofing jobs are good. Other work? Forget it. Handyman is a Re-Bath monkey. Sloppy. Not licensed other than through the company. Hire an outside company with real professionals. Our home is a real mess now and I'm stuck repairing and doing sections that should have been included in the price. Very embarrassing when neighbors point out their mistakes.

A friend of mine in Golden Gate Estates had his roof repaired and it was supposed to be with the duralock roof system and I've never seen such sloppy workmanship in my life never unsupervised untrain unskilled it is on the roof pouring sealant out instead of using her cocking gun ripping off the edge of the roof sprayed all over the side walls didn't know what they were doing on the cell phone calling her boss for advice how to use the tools I call him the rent a drunk duralock system and sue me for slander please
