My name is John Bishop. I was born and raised in Michigan. That's where I got the work ethic and family values I share with a lot of you folks who migrated here from the Midwest. In 1986, a change of ownership in the tool company I worked for prompted a change of career. A good Navy buddy (Fats McFadden from New Jersey) got me started in roofing. I took to it like a duck to water.

For the last 21 years I've worked for big companies and small, residential and commercial, hot weather and cold. In 2004, after four hurricanes slammed into our state in six weeks, I started my own company, QVS Roofing Inc.

I've hired QVS twice in the last three years and both times received outstanding service. John has always responded to my calls promptly, arrived on time, and his pricing is very reasonable. In fact during this last appointment he came out, inspected a roof for me, provided a detailed recommendation on how to remedy the damage, and did not even charge for the visit.
