Porcelain Pavers, until recently, have mostly been used for traditional interior tiling purposes on both floors and walls. But with advances in manufacturing techniques and new frontier in paver technology, it is now possible to make porcelain pavers & tiles in a much greater thickness and size, enabling these pavers to be used for exterior structural ground-breaking paving applications such the iconic Century Plaza Hotel.
Wood Deck Tiles are designed for constructing raised wood decks over exterior surfaces such as rooftops, terraces, and plazas, in both residential and commercial applications. Tile Tech's IPE Wood Tiles are constructed from kiln-dried 13 IPE wood face slats secured to 3 IPE wood support runners (battens) using corrosion-resistant stainless steel screws.
Most of the roofs in the world including over 90% of the roofs in the United States are dark-colored. To help reduce the heat island effect created by the dark densely-place urban roofs which, contribute to global warming, Tile Tech has developed the Cool-Roof series roof pavers. Solar reflective Cool-Roof Pavers are ideal for creating functional and attractive rooftops, terraces, balconies, and plazas.

From our experience, this company does not have the necessary infrastructure to serve the customer in a reliable, professional manner, and their product components are lacking design features to complete a job in a quality fashion. Expect to be placed on hold A LOT and to find tech support to be a bit of a grumpy pants - and DO NOT trust them with your credit or debit card number!

Our client had found Tile Tech via google search. She wanted to do a roof deck using their Porcelain System. We have used other roof systems before but not Tile Tech. Before my phone call to them I tried dealing with a well known competitor, to see if I can get the similar product from them. After waiting and getting no where from them, I decided to call Tile Tech to see what I will be dealing with per the clients request.
I would like to say I might have came off a bit rude as I was frustrated already, but this young lady Liz must have noticed my attitude. She took a minute ask how my day was going and ask me about my company. This truly demonstrated the lack of customer service that other companies are lacking right now. Her knowledge of the system, and pricing made it easy and pleasant.
We got an estimate within the time frame she gave me and samples were received within a week. We are getting ready to install this system and the pavers look amazing. We have placed a few more orders with Tile Tech and recommend the product.

Tile Tech provided me with incredible customer service! Their knowledge of their products and as well as quick shipping times helped out tremdously on this project. Liz Alvarez is the associate that handled both of my orders. My project carried a strict deadline and Liz made sure we would meet it. She is a phonemical office manager and assisted me with everything ranging from orders to warranty. Tile Tech is sure to get more of my business!

I have a client who was dead set on the utilization of the Tile Tech Pavers system. Ronnie (owner) not only had information to provide me about his product. He also established a correspondence with a professional to help with the installation. The helpful and quick to respond people who are employed at Tile Tech, eased my transition into providing a new product for my construction projects. Liz was especially helpful in helping me to find the right product for the client. Thank you Tile Tech Team

Phenomenal experience ordering and getting IPE material on time. Liz demonstrated exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction. She was able to accommodate us for a Last minute order and she's very knowledgeable about the product lineup. The entire process of working with tile tech was seamless and efficient. Thank you, look forward to getting more product in the near future!

Worst managerial customer service I have ever encountered This company is a joke. Never in my career have I ever dealt with a more unorganized, uninformative, unprofessional, and rude company. First, after I had paid for my very expensive order, it was like pulling teeth to get a response from these people on progress of my order. I tried calling and emailing multiple times. Calls were never returned as promised, emails were left unanswered for the better part of a week.
All the whilst my client waits for their paver system to be installed, these people can't update me on the status of my order or the shipping information. Once I finally received my order and went to install, my crew had a question about the design of the pavers. The etched lines to create the illusion of decking boards did not match up on some of the tiles.
Since we typically install solid colored tiles I had never encountered this situation and wasn't anticipating it. I called Tile Tech and was transferred to the "manager" RONNIE and proceeded to ask some simple questions to gather enough information to speak intelligently to my client who had a decision on their hands. "How come the lines don't match up side by side", "how do you typically see this installed as a finished product?", "do you have pictures I can show my client", "how do you recommend we install this product? alternating between vertical and horizontal? or keep lines the same direction and keep the randomized lines?" He proceeded to cut me off on almost every question to shoot down any potential information, he did not offer me any solution to my questions or issues, and he eventually got very frustrated with me for seemingly no reason.
I was not being unreasonable and was just asking simple questions. This guy was very rude and seemingly annoyed with me before he even answered the phone. I DO NOT recommend using these people for any paver or tile services, the customer service I received was unlike anything I have ever dealt with. SO unprofessional its ridiculous.

Wow. These reviews about Ronnie are right on point. After talking to him and getting the rudest treatment from any potential vendor, I just told him that I'd contact another manufacturer. He's over the top rude. He interrupts, over talks, and is very condescending. I got a headache just talking to him.

My experience in a nutshell: Great product but the owner is the Soup Nazi of tile. - I found the owner, Ronnie, to be so rude and difficult to work with that we decided halfway through the process to go with a different manufacturer. We ONLY came back to Tile Tech because our installer said TT's pedestal system makes installation on a rooftop deck so much easier that our install fee would increase by almost $8,000 to switch.
Every installer we talked with warned us that Ronnie could be challenging, but I never expected I'd get yelled at multiple times, for no reason (expect maybe that I'm a female homeowner?), by the owner of a company I was spending so much money with. - Beautiful product. We installed 1400 sq. ft. of their porcelain pavers to our rooftop deck. Installation was smooth and it's gorgeous.
Most installers we met with said Tile Tech's tiles were a bit better made than the others. - Delivery was a pain, but that's on Road Runner, the freight company. I had the same issue as another Yelp'er. Road Runner sent too big of a truck, so they paid us to rent a forklift and unload it ourselves. - Other than my bad experiences with Ronnie, customer service was otherwise good. Lupe was especially helpful and friendly, especially in dealing with the delivery issues.
They were quick to FedEx as many samples as we wanted. The response rate to emails was low. We also got no confirmation that they'd received or processed our order, which required another dreaded phone call to Ronnie. And yes, he yelled at me during that call for not having an invoice number, which would have been on the confirmation that they didn't send us.
My suggestion to Ronnie is this: if you're too busy (or lack the people skills) to treat customers & potential customers courteously & respectfully, hire someone else to handle sales calls.

I'm a do-it-yourselfer with a fair amount of acumen. I had been looking at installing a pedestal deck over our garage for some time, and finally decided to do it last summer. The overall size of the installation was about 450 ft^2. First I asked Tile-tech for samples of pedestal devices, and a wide variety of tile types. They were very generous, and shipped the rather heavy samples priority mail.
This was great, and allowed us to choose the tile without disappointment. Some of the samples really didn't image well on the web, and would have been a mistake. I planned out the installation, and had a few conversations with Ronnie to clear up the purpose of some of the parts. He was helpful in estimating what was necessary, although we overordered shims pretty badly.
The biggest headache we had was when I ordered the tile (about 2 tons of it), the shipping company (despite my speaking with them on the phone before delivery) sent a truck that was far too large for our road. The delivery was a failure, and I had to make several trips into San Jose to pick up the load in portions. Installation generally went quickly, once the lay lines were struck, and the product itself is great.
The only installation related headache I had was that the 24 porcelain tiles had an unfortunate tendency to fracture when being cut. This was with a large B&K 212 tile saw with a brand new blade. Because of that, we had a little more loss than expected, and I had to order some more tile. Even though my job was a small one, the folks at Tile-tech were helpful, and the second delivery company brought a more reasonable truck.
All in all, we love the finished installation. It looks great, was fun to install, and the installed surface was dead flat with the adjustable pedestals, despite the complex sloped acrylic deck below it.

I have been working with Tile Tech for many years now. We have installed numerous products from Tile Tech. Their prices are unbeatable. The Website is very user friendly and you can always contact their office team if you need further assistants. I highly recommend the Porcelain Line for ease of installation and look.

TileTech is a great company to deal with. I am not a contractor, nor a business, just a guy building a deck on his own. Ronnie was very patient in explaining how everything worked, and what I should expect throughout the process. The IPE tile product that I used is very high quality and made for an extremely nice rooftop deck. They are not the cheapest out there, but clearly you get what you pay for.

We installed concrete pavers in 2014 and they have worn so poorly that they need to be replaced. I called Tile Tech to look into replacing the concrete pavers with another material, and was amazed at how rudely I was treated. I was told to send an email with my request. I sent three emails, and never got a reply. When I called the company back, the owner, Ronnie, was very rude and asked me to call back the next day because he was busy. I ended up ordering an entirely new system from another company, whose customer service is great. I recommend not working Tile Tech because of their terrible service.

I had a very different experience than the other people that I've written reviews. I contacted Tile tech spoke to the office manager and had them send me a catalog so I can order my product. It took me several days to make my selection and when I did and I contacted Tile Tech and placed my order. Everything seemed to go pretty smoothly and I had no issues.
My product was delivered as scheduled and the manufacture and also referred an installation company which I did use. The results turned out absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for beautiful pavers at an affordable price give these guys a shoot. I I love the way my patio looks and I will definitely recommend the paver manufacture and the installers.

BE WARNED. Wish I had seen these reviews when my husband and I ordered from them many years ago. We have their concrete pavers in both the front and back of our house. We now need to replace two of our steps but after at least oh, 8- 10 phone calls and multiple emails we still can't get Ronnie (the owner) to even give us a quote. Has no concept of customer service. If you need follow up, which inevitably happens in any contract job, you will be out of luck. Wishing Ronnie and his team the worst. Stay AWAY.

Can we say bad customer service overall? including the woman who answers the call to the owner himself? seems this guy has NO PATIENCE at all seemed i couldn't even ask a question! Very rude! Obviously he really doesn't care about his customer or may i say POTENTIAL customers! Glad i hanged up on him!

I called the toll free number on the website, and choose to be connected with the pricing department because of a question I had about a potential project I was bidding on. Directly after I asked my first question the person on the other end of the phone began to be very short with me because I did not know exactly what type of membrane I needed pricing for.
That was the reason I was calling because I did not know myself! Very rude customer service, and from what I have read from the other reviews I would not bother with this company at all.

I have ordered 400 sqft of tiles from them for my private roof space. I have no doubt that the tiles are gorgeous (they haven't arrived yet and I look forward to receiving them later this week). YET, I have to give them a low rating due to customer service. I have clearly communicated I have a deadline to meet, but even then, they were delayed shipping my tiles from CA to NY by a few days (even when I paid everything promptly).
The person in charge (he said he is the owner) was constantly short with me on the phone. Whenever I tried to ask a question courteously, he interrupted with frustration (where there was no reason to be frustrated whatsoever). He was just generally unpleasant and condescending. I sent him an email calling him out on this rudeness, and he didn't even bother responding. So if you need to work with them, by all means, but set your expectations accordingly.

Never in my life have I been spoken to the way Ronnie Tabibna spoke to me. He told me that he was doing me a FAVOR by selling me their pedestals when I can get them from Italy for cheaper & better quality. I was in a bind & needed them fast otherwise I would not deal with them. You can't even call what they do customer service. Extremely rude & l was yelled at for trying to purchase something.

This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I spoke with the owner and he started arguing with me and spouting out foul language, at that point I asked for his supervisor and was shocked when he stated he was the owner. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I will never do business with this company again. If your thinking about using them please look elsewhere, you are better off not dealing with this company

This business sells excellent porcelain tile pavers and very good pedestals however the customer service is rather miserable due to an unprofessional and rude person in charge. They are on line with advertising to all customers however appear to only wish to service very large orders - people who purchase more than just a few thousand dollars worth of goods.
Due to their significant mis-calculation of the number of pedestals required for my job, I have a few hundred dollars worth of leftover product. However I have not been able to return it because the principal person first ignored multiple contact request and then was rude when reached by phone. He said "What's a few hundred dollars?"
