Advantage Roofing

The Advantage team tore down my old and badly leaking roof tile, replaced all the bad wood and installed a new tile roof as well as a new flat roof above the addition. They did a pretty much perfect job. The clean up all around my home was done carefully every day. Ray helped us to get a beautiful flat tile that had just come in to the supplier so that we didn't have to wait for our tile order and since our roof was leaking this was much appreciated. Advantage responded to every phone call within the hour and the guys were very professional. This was a 5 Star experience and we are very happy with all aspects.

These guys are amazing. I contacted them on referral for a leak on the corner of my house and they came out next day and did the work a day later. Called them again 2 weeks ago to fix a new leak in our roof, again came the next day and fixed it the next day. Just moved and have a leak over our patio so who do I call? Advantage roofing. They came out within a few days (Eta storm had to pass) and said they'd get it fixed within a week for less than $1k. Amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Quick to respond, VERY reasonable. Quick work. NO COMPLAINTS. Literally have called them 3x in the last 4 months. Amazing. THANK YOU! You won't be disappointed.

Steve and crew was awesome to work with. We had a major leak in an older home we purchased, two weeks in. They were punctual, professional, and informed us every step of the way. In particular, Steve educated on where the problem was, the shoddy work that had been done previously on the roof, and the steps they were taking to rectify the problem. Not only did they fix the leak, but they applied additional Mortar around the Chimney that was missing and touched it off with fresh paint. Much Appreciated!

We have had fantastic service from Advantage on two occasions. Finding good contractors in South Florida can be a real challenge. Ray and the team at Advantage really looked after us. They did some repairs to our roof after Irma, and again a couple of years later they were there with timely and valuable service. They are honest and dependable - something that is not as easy to find as it should be. They have my highest recommendation.

Advantage Roofing and Inspection is not the company to go with for roof repairs. If you decide to go with the company, be aware that they do not honor the contract terms and agreement. That is what happened to me. The roof was repaired in April of 2017. In the beginning of August a small leak was discovered. After the hurricane passes the roof leaked in the place it was previously repaired.

I called the company twice, there was no response. A letter was faxed. Mr. M(last name begins with M) arrived. One could see he was not it a friendly mood, looked at the roof and said there is no problem with the roof but some AC pipe must be collecting and dripping condensation. He added that the hurricane nulled the contract. Then he said that it would take around $380 to look at the roof. Doubting his diagnosis, I called my AC repairman who told me that there is no pipe going that direction at all.

I placed a call to Advantage Roofing and Inspection again, Mr. M arrived and gave me the same story, he told before. Clearly, I knew that he is not going to honor the contract and I would have to take care of it on my own. The roof was repaired by SRJ Roofing and Construction. It was a small one foot area that needed attention. Photos were taken and evidence collected.

Let me add, that price wise, SRJ was reasonable, friendly and professional. So, ladies and gentleman BEWARE of this company. Ladies, do your research and note the disclaimers on the contract. Great company. Very reliable, honest prices. I've used this company several times for roof repairs on my home and rental property. They were the only company to actually go up on the roof and into the attic to verify what the problem was. Other roofers just looked at it from the ground and quoted me a ridiculous price that included work that didn't need to be done. Highly recommend.

Probably the worst hands down company we've ever used. Extremely unprofessional. if you are thinking about using these guys, take it from me it would be like going to the worst car salesman x10. Good luck and let me know when you've burnt your business to the ground.
