This guy is polite and competent. When I found water stains in my attic he was able to replace the entire roof in one day. They found some rotten wood at the site of the leak and replaced that - still were able to finish by the end of the day. He is honest and compassionate, easy to work with. They went around the site and used a magnet to clean up all the nails from the ground

The crew from RA Carlo was very professional and thorough both in diagnosing the problem with the roof and in performing the work to fix it. We bought a tiny house to renovate that was in poor condition. A friend of mine who is a realtor recommended RA Carlo, and I am thrilled she did. RA Carlo was amazing throughout! They were professional, responsive, and communicative. They met me to select roof color, swung by the property a few times to insure they had the details correct, and accommodated the moving structural repair timeline. More so, on the day of, the team was prompt and hard working. They cleared out everything without a trace. The new roof looks fabulous!

Mr. Carlo was very responsive and was able to fix the repair within a day or two of me calling. The roof was replaced soon afterwards and they did a great job. It was done well and they were quick and professional. They did a nice job cleaning up too! I highly recommend R.A. Carlo and his team for all of your roof repairs/installations.

Had RA carlo company do our roof yesterday. They showed up at 7:30 and by 4pm they had stripped the shingles. Reshingked the whole house and extension even the garden shed! Bob and his crew did such an amazing job on our neighbors roof that when it was time for ours to be replaced, it wasn't a question of who we'd hire to do the job. R.A. Carlo Roofing did not meet the agreed upon roof replacement contact from October 25, 2011. The business was contacted in both 2012 and 2014 about visual problems with the roof that was installed. On both occasions they never followed up. In July of 2016 three different roofing companies were asked to inspect the roof and estimate the cost of fixes since there was a leak in the roof valley in early 2016.
Upon completed inspections of the roof it was found to be poorly installed and deficient in a number of areas. The original contract was also reviewed and found to be under warranty. R.A. Carlo was contacted on July 30 and came out to the home site on July 31. Mr. Carlo did not bring a ladder to properly inspect the roof, he arrived with binoculars.
Upon arrival he was condescending and rude to the owner referring to her as 'honey'. He also second guessed the three other inspector's findings and claimed verbally that the roof was permitted work. On August 3, 2016 the town of Bedford confirmed that R.A. Carlo did not pull a permit for the roof. R.A. Carlo claimed on July 31 that the roof was permitted and that he believed the shingles were defective.
He asked to setup a time with the manufacturer to review the case for defective shingles. The following items also need to be remediated to solve the issue with his original 2011 roof installation: Plywood is going the wrong direction, not secured properly to the risers Plywood that is visibly rotten was not replaced First row of shingles was not put in as a starter row and not adhered to the roof properly The flashing is pulling away from the roof There is a gap in the venting Nails are sticking directly up on the roof Leak in the valley of the roof Areas of the roof are soft enough to cause injury for inspection personnel Spoke to on Wednesday August 3 said he was going to the town to get a copy of the permit, said the shingle rep was on vacation until Monday Aug 8 Spoke to on Monday August 8 said the shingle rep could come out any day but Thursday, when pressed admitted he did not locate a copy of the permit and said he is not sure why he did not pull a permit Came with Rep was unhelpful, refused to leave property after intimidating owner

We hired R A Carlo to put a new roof and some gutters on our house. His pricing was in the middle of the quotes we received so we felt it was a fair price. Since our house is old, it was not surprising that more work needed to be done once they started the project (rotted wood needed to be replaced etc.) Because of the extra work the job cost more than originally quoted, but that is to be expected.
The crew was FABULOUS. Kind, courteous and clearly very skilled. Because of weather delays the job took the month of December to complete. The crew never complained, had a great attitude about cold/snow/freezing rain. The most impressive part was that they left our grounds spotless at the end of every day. I would absolutely recommend them and would hire them again for future projects.
