Rich was incredibly knowledgeable. When I told him that an inspector had found a crack in my foundation, he just asked me what type of foundation it was. With nothing else but that, he described exactly what was going on, what the crack looked like, and how it would best be repaired. Ben came out and did the work quickly and cleanly. While he was there, he noticed something else that he wanted to ask Rich about.
Rich took the time and initiative to communicate with my inspector, and then called me to let me know what to look out for in the future. I hope I never have to call anyone about a foundation problem again. But if I do, I'll gladly call Rich and A-1.

Excellent work by A1. Very professional and helpful. Our foundation crack was kind of complicated because of where it was located, but A1 was totally willing to help us figure out what to do, and got the repair done pretty quickly. It's been two rainstorms so far and everything is looking great! Also--was blown away by the great price for the crack repair. We were SO worried that it was going to be a ton of money, and it turned out to be super reasonable.

I was referred to Rich by a colleague of mine and he was kind enough to take a look at my basement (not long after I called) and offer some crucial suggestions even before we touched on what A-1 could do to help with my cellar. He was very professional and called to follow up on next steps as I requested. Rich will be coming back after I finish running some tests. I would highly recommend them for their knowledge, professionalism and prompt call back which is rare these days!

Last year I had 3 Lally Columns added after I noticed one was failing. The service from A-1 Foundation was excellent and I had comfort in knowing that my house was supported properly. This May I noticed the remaining 3 showing signs of rust. So rather than put it off I booked for 3 more to be added. Ed just finished pouring the footings. He works clean and efficient.
Once set I will have 3 more solid columns added. Honestly I never knew the importance of these metal poles in my basement. A-1 Foundation educated me on their purpose and last year showed me what to look for in my remaining columns. With their education, I decided to add the 3 this year. Since a rusting column will only get worse. I now share this with friends and family to check theirs and call A-1 if they have any concerns.

I called and spoke to Rich today regarding questions with potential repairs my block foundation may need. A1 Foundation Crack Repair was a great company to work with. They did an excellent job - exactly as promised. We had foundation cracks repaired, and a sump pump replaced (and re-routed outside). Rich, Adam and team explained the process and what to expect. All were professional, friendly and helpful. No problems a year later. In fact I just called with a question (not a problem, just a question) and got the same prompt, professional, friendly treatment as when the job was done. I highly recommend A1.

We had A-1 Foundation come out to our house and install 4 lally column in the basement for extra support. Rich came out to do the initial estimate and walk through. He was very nice and helpful explaining the process. Then we scheduled to the have concrete poured. Ed came out to do the concrete pour and the column installation luckily in the same week. Ed did a great job and we couldn't be happier. Thanks A-1 for the great work.

We contacted A-1 to repair a crack in our foundation that was resulting in water in our basement on days with heavy rain. We waited to provide a review until we had a couple significant rain events to be able to fully comment on the overall success of the intervention. I am pleased to be able to say that our basement has remained dry following their repair. They were responsive, reasonable and professional as well. We recommend this company without hesitation.
