Jim L. from Sack Roofing came out (PROMPTLY!) to our home today in the Villages and did an outstanding job of addressing the minor roof/shingle related issues found during a recent warranty inspection. Jim was prompt (responsive), professional, took the time to thoroughly and clearly explain what he did and why, and even identified and resolved a minor shingle issue that was missed in the inspection. Jim did a GREAT job and made us feel very comfortable with their service quality and repairs. We would highly recommend Sack Roofing if you are in need of quality, professional and prompt roofing services.

Here's our experience. They Installed a new roof and siding repair for us 3 years ago. The siding repair was a problem within 3 months, warped and cracked due to not nailing to code. We needed to replace it. Now 3 years later we need new roof. Insurance inspector and roofing engineer found improperly nailed shingles, rusting nails, improperly flashed, and ridge vent not installed properly.

Don't expect your roof to last. They did ours 4 years ago and seemed great. Started having problems with singles letting loose within 2 years. During installation we thought they had put in a roof vent in. When we were doing a remodel of the room below we saw there was no actual vent, it was just a fake vent on the outside. When we called they sent a guy with a drill to make holes instead of doing the job right.
Now 4 years later we need a new roof. The new company that is installing has found lots of rotted plywood that was just put in 4 years ago and some of the plywood Sack installed wasn't even nailed down. Don't use them.

Our new home, built in 2018, has developed a roof leak. Not under 1 yr builder warranty and told to call roofing company. We had another company come out because we got the runaround with the builder and roofing. They told us a plywood clip came loose, should be covered by roofer due to construction of roof. Got a phone call from Sack Roofing, the guy was rude, I had to pull the information out of him, insisted was not covered by warranty but told by professional roofing company it was. Love how people don't want to take ownership of their mistakes and very non professional.
