I hired Beldon to patch up the roof on two of my commercial warehouses and replace the shingles on the front of the building. I approved the work, and it took them 6 months to actually show up. The roof leaked horribly when it would rain, so they began replacing the shingles and found they did not have the materials needed to finish where the roof leaked.

It was impossible to miss what was needed because the ceiling tiles were missing, and you could see the sky from inside the office. The roofers left and we did not hear from them for over a month. They failed to inform me of the work order changes and how long it would take for work would resume. We had to call to find out. Finally, a few weeks later they showed up to finish the job and give me a quote for gutters. 2 weeks have passed, and I still have not received a quote for gutters and we got the first rain since fixing the roof, and IT STILL LEAKS.

I did receive my invoice in a timely manner of course but received no discount of any kind to make up for the lack of communication, lack of professionalism, and lack of time management. UPDATE: Since posting the review, Beldon came out immediately to inspect. upon running a water hose over the roof with water pouring in, Beldon has informed us it is the cracks in the building that are leaking.

They patched it up to help us in the meantime till we can get masonry work done. I wanted to update my review because it wasn't the roof. The work done was excellent. However, the process to get them out here and the complete lack of communication keeps my rating low.

Update: After writing this review I was contacted by no less than 4 people at Beldon, including management to make it right. The job was completed within days! Bumping them to 5 stars just based on their commitment to customer satisfaction! While a mistake did happen, once alerted to it, my problem was handled swiftly. That kind of customer care is rare in the world these days.

It is apparent to me these folks genuinely care! Well done Beldon, while we all make mistakes, it's our response that truly matters! I'm sad to write this review since everyone from Beldon I encountered was wonderful, it's a shame they don't talk to each other. I got a quote for a roof leak and the rep talked me into gutters. The roof leak was repaired well and very quickly.

The gutters came weeks later. That crew was great as well but they said they ran out of metal and would have to come back. They left the downspout 3 to 4 feet from the ground. The next call I received from Beldon was asking me when I planned to pay them! I then told that person what had happened and that I wanted the job complete first, she said she'd look into it.

Today (2-3 weeks later) I get a call from Beldon asking me to pay my bill again! No work had been done in the meantime nor was I contacted by anyone. So I am being nagged for a payment like I'm behind on my rent. That's ok guys. I will pay your bill and finish the job myself. I would never recommend this company just due to the lack of follow through. Great staff but the management must be poor.

I have done business with Beldon Roofing for over 20 years. They have always treated me like a valued customer. I had my roof installed by Beldon and after the warranty period expired, I purchased their KISS program to insure my roof was in good condition and working as it was intended. Last year, I received a letter that Residential customers were no longer going to be allowed to renew their KISS program but I could renew it for an additional year but would have to pay the full price.

I soon realized that the KISS contract I paid to renew in 2019 was for 2 years, and Beldon did not inform me that I had renewed a contract that was still in force. I have been in contact with Greg Davis (vice-president) but he has left me feeling as if my 20+ years relationship with Beldon means nothing to him. He does not bother to return calls and the only attempt he has made is an offer of 50% refund of the money I paid to renew a contract that was still in force.

I left Mr. Davis a voicemail today giving him an opportunity to restore my confidence in a company that I once thought was the best in San Antonio. I told him in the voicemail that I was going to contact Brad Beldon. I also informed him that my next step was a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, I believe he will ignore me as he has done since I first spoke to him, and suggesting that I was going to contact Brad Beldon is not going to push him to resolve this unfortunate issue.

Met with Nathaniel Greene from Beldon Roofing Company to obtain an estimate for a new roof. Nathaniel arrived to my house at the scheduled date and time. He was professional, and friendly and made this process as painless as possible. He explained the installation process and all our options, as well as pricing information, and financing. We are highly satisfied and happy with our choice to have a new Beldon Roof.

Kyle Chapman was our Project Consultant. He provided detailed information on all of our questions about getting our Roof replaced due to Storm damage. Our contact was very detailed and Kyle made sure to informed us of new code compliance items. We appreciate that Kyle did not use any high pressure sales tactics and we used a detailed interview process with 3 other companies before deciding on Beldon. Kyle's knowledge and outstanding attitude is what sold us on using Beldon.

A checklist was sent on what to expect on the day of the Roof Replacement and the project was completed in one day. Outstanding! My wife and I are very happy with our new roof and the compliments from neighbor's have been a nice surprise! Thank you Beldon and Kyle Chapman for a job well done! I'm glad we chose Beldon for our roof replacement. My Sales Representative Kyle Chapman provided exceptional customer service. At our first appointment, Kyle went over all the details and assured me he would take care of everything from start to finish, I would not need to worry about anything. He kept his word! And, thankfully he took over working with our insurance which was a big relief for us. Also, I appreciate the Project Manager for taking the time to address questions that arose during the job and I'm thankful all permits had been submitted in a timely manner.

The crew, I wish I knew all their names, did a wonderful job. They arrived early and stayed late and the job was finished quickly. They did excellent work. So thankful to the Lord for all those that worked so hard to complete this job for us.

False advertising! They offer a free HEB gift card for coming out for estimate. The estimate was too high to my likings and the contractor knew it, because I wanted cheap. When he was leaving I asked about the offer, his response "Both homeowners have to be present"! Yeah, FALSE ADVERTISING! I also asked for a written copy of estimate, twice. Never received it & was told that if I didn't take offer today, it would go up $500 tomorrow. I'd like to see this 75% off labor that they advertise.

The men from Beldon were very professional and did a great job. I have a flat roof and wouldn't have trusted just anyone to replace my roof accept Beldon. With all the years of experience that they have I knew I was in good hands. Jonathon, the project manager, always kept me posted on the status of the job and airways met my needs. I'm at peace knowing the work is guaranteed and was done by professionals. I will never have to worry about my roof again when I hear about rain in the forecast. I highly recommend Beldon.

This is the second roof repair we have needed for our home built in 1984. They did a great job on the repair. The estimator was very nice, professional and presented several options for the repair. The crew was here on time and on the date they told me they would arrive. They are very busy so it took them a few weeks to get to my job but well worth the wait. I highly recommend this roofing company.

A business without integrity should not be doing business. Customers expect more. Beldon has been aggressively pursuing me for payment after completing guarantee work that another roofer arranged for them to do. I have the e-mails to prove it and all they care about is sending me threatening letters. I'm a 20 year retired Navy veteran. We expect more in military city USA.

The work looked after gutters were installed. It was after the 1st big rain we had, that we realized that they were not installed correctly. They have terrible service after they have installed the gutters. You call and the person answers the phone, but doesn't know the right questions to ask. If you don't give enough information on what the problem is, they don't sent out the right person or crew with the correct equipment that is needed to do the repairs. What they need is someone who is experienced and knows what type of questions to ask.

I have heard the Beldon name for many years and finally had a chance to try them out for myself due to needing a whole new roof related to hail damage. The worst. No help and refused to send anyone for an estimate. No offer of schedule, work with or any care for a potential customer. Heartless individuals answering phones and if the dollar sign isn't big enough you can go kick rocks. The reply is hilarious as I'm no competitor but a customer and proudly NOT a beldon customer. Beldon's product has lived up to their reputation. Jay Benavidez or Project Consultant, was thorough and we never felt pressured. He allowed us to research and made sure it was our timeline. We highly recommend both Jay, and the Beldon Leaf Guard product.

I thought choosing Beldon was a good decision after the hail storm but it was a very bad decision, they have not delivered on anything, they started billing me for services before they even started work on the roof, their team damaged not only the water heater vents but also the dryer vents that cost us another 700$ to fix the damage their team did, they started in October and the work is still not complete in April, my fireplace is now leaking after my new roof was installed but they refuse to admit they caused it?

My fireplace did not leak before new roof and leaks first rainstorm after new roof? Sure seems like it's their fault considering they already caused damage to water heater and dryer vents. On the roof. I wish I had a do over to pick a roofing company

I have had a recurring problem with a leak in our ceiling by our fireplace. I hired Beldon because I THOUGHT they were a reputable company. They came in and "diagnosed" my problem. After charging me $4,500 to fix the area, things were fine until we had the first really big rain, and then we had a reoccurrence of the leak. My mistake was not calling them back right away, but we had a wedding we were planning at the time and I then I had surgery following that.

It fell down on my priority list. After the most recent big rain, the leak came back again and we noticed mold starting to grow at the site of the leak. I called Beldon back, and they performed a leak test by running water on our roof. Nothing happened, so they told me to have the sheetrock cut out where the leak was occurring so that they could see inside the ceiling when they performed the next leak test, which was supposed to have been today.

I waited hours beyond the time the company had set up with me for the workers to come back. No one came, no one called. I finally called the company to see what was happening, and the representative said she would check and see. It turns out that the company decided that they would not honor their two year warranty on the work to our roof because of the hail storm that hit San Antonio this past year, even though the problem I had was precisely the area they unsuccessfully worked on and had absolutely nothing to do with the hail.

What infuriates me is that not only did they drop the ball in fixing my problem, to the tune of $4500, they instructed me to have my ceiling opened up for a test they decided NOT to show up for, and they did not have the courtesy to even let me know that! I now have a gaping hole in my ceiling, with no plans for anyone to come do anything about it.

I was told I would be charged for them to do the water test. THAT would have been a handy thing to know BEFORE having a large hole cut in the ceiling per their instructions. This company is overpriced, overrated, unorganized, and will find ANY loophole they can to not stand behind their warranty. I guess they were kicking their greedy heels up in excitement when the hail storm hit San Antonio.

Not only did they decide that this would negate every one of all their warranties of previous work done (lucky them), they also had a windfall of new repair jobs. There are plenty of good roofing companies in town. Don't give this money grubbing group a penny of your money. They do not stand behind their work, and are terrible about keeping their appointments.

Update: Brad left a reply to my review but didn't ask for my last name so of course he "can't find my records". We have called them 6 times and left messages already and no one has helped us so why call again if they take time to reply to a review but not to multiple phone calls stating you're not following up? --------- Our insurance agent and home appraiser highly recommended Beldon for our hail damage after we had a terrible experience with another roofer trying to pull a bait and switch.

So we waited the 3 months for Beldon to be available for the estimate since they came so highly recommended. The guy came out, looked at our roof for the estimate, took our insurance paperwork, and promised he would send the estimate and a contract "tomorrow". He also said it would be another 8 months before they could replace our roof because they are so booked. Frustrating, but for quality work, we were still willing to wait.

Well that was over a month ago and we NEVER heard from the guy or from Beldon. Over a MONTH and still no contract, no estimate, and no calls from Beldon. Although we get lots of junk mail from them. Gee, thanks, maybe if you put all the ads you send us on shingles I could have a new roof by now. My husband and I called 4 times telling them we had not received any follow up.

Each time the rep who answered our calls was very polite and apologetic, promising a call back each time, eventually saying they would inform a supervisor. No one EVER called back. Wasted 4 months on this company. Maybe they should spend a little less time sending out ads to potential customers and a lot more time calling us back and booking us. And yes we let the agent and adjuster who recommended them know about our experience. So perhaps they will hesitate to recommend them in the future. Steer clear!

This has been one of the worst experiences and most unprofessional company we have ever worked with. I have NEVER written a review, but you all need to be aware of this company. The work started 9/13/16, we were told it would only take about 4-days and understand that there were two layers of roofing, thus taking a little longer. One of the workers punched a hole in the garage ceiling then stopped working on the roof on 9/16/16, leaving roofing materials, nails and debris everywhere all over the property.

After contacting Beldon to see what is going on, the work started again on 9/21/16. The roof work was done poorly leaving several items that still needed to be corrected and completed. We attempted to schedule the completion of the roof and to fix the hole in the ceiling several times with no reply. Finally they called my husband on 10/6/16 stating he would be at the property around 12pm, my husband went to the property around 2:30-3pm, no one was working on the roof.

The workers did not show up until 10/8/16 to complete the work. Then on 10/20/16 we discovered a leak, the restroom vent was not sealed properly. A water test was performed on 10/27/16 and the vent was sealed on 11/3/16. An appointment to fix the ceiling due to this leak was scheduled for 8am on 11/4/16, and no one showed. My husband left for work at 10am.

When setting this appointment he was not informed this work would be an all-day event. This has been a lengthy process and I don't believe removing and replacing a roof should take almost two months. I'm concerned that there will be other issues and possible leaks in the future and don't want to go through this long process to get the issues corrected.

Choosing this company for our roof repairs was one of the worst decisions we have made. We have been trying for over a year to get a basic leak resolved. They continue to say they resolved it, then come out and find the previous technicians they sent did not know what they were doing (per one of their own reps) and caused more holes and more leaks in another area.

When this happens we have to push back for them to resolve the additional damage they caused. In addition to all of that, each time we call to resolve this we leave a message with a representative for a call back, each time over a month will go by and no one will call us back. We had another reputable roofing company come out recently for just basic hail damage (not related to the leak) they commented on how poorly the work Beldon completed was and they definitely did not do it properly. I wish I had know the poor caliber of their work before this had all started, so years down the line I wouldn't still be dealing with them and the "repairs" made.

Beware this company. They recently did a job installing two gutters for us. While we had no problems with this initial job, we contacted Beldon to schedule them to hook the gutters up to a water catchment tank, which was our reason for installing them. The first available available appointment was in two and a half weeks, so we scheduled it. No one ever showed up, or called, or returned any of our following calls.

Finally the receptionist explained that our appointment had been canceled by us, which was a complete lie. She assured us she would get back to us right away; we never heard back from her or anyone else from this company. We finally found someone else to complete the job, but all of Beldon's lies cost us weeks of delay. Neil Chavigny San Antonio

I made an appointment for gutter estimate for today. Someone called me yesterday to confirm. Today at 3p Jose Gomez showed up and was very professional. He measure all around the house, he brought sample pieces, picture, references, answered everything and gave me a written estimate. We walk around the house several time changing the downspout position as I am more interested in catching all the rainwater in barrel.

He spend more than 2 hours, was very professional, accurate. I was very satisfied with the bid. I have not gotten the work done so I can not say anything on the installation. That is why I am giving 4 star in my rating.

Maybe this place advertises itself as having the best reputation in town, but the impression I got was not in line with that. First off, it took over 2 months just to receive a quote. The appointment was changed at least twice due to their request not mine. When the inspector finally came out it felt like a used car dealer appointment. All of the other companies that gave me quotes got on the roof and measured.

This guy said not to worry because he had a picture off of Google Earth?! I don't even know how old that picture is. Then, he took pictures of everything around the house. When I saw him taking pics of the A/C unit, he said he could get more $$ from the insurance company by submitting any possible damage. That just seemed really shady to me, and had nothing to do with the actual roof.

At the end of the appointment he would never give me an actual dollar quote. He said "It's like when you wreck your car, you don't know how much it's going to cost just pay your deductible and it gets fixed." Maybe others are comfortable with this concept, but I want to know exactly what I'm signing and exactly what I'm getting myself into financially.

I scheduled an appointment with Beldon, but the earliest they had was more than a month and a half out. It wasn't exactly pressing that I get them out here for an estimate, so I agreed. Three weeks before the appointment, they called and left me a message, asking me to call back and confirm my appointment coming up in three weeks. I thought this was weird, but I called back, and left them a message saying that, yes, I still want them to come out and look at my roof.

Two weeks out, I get another call, asking me to call them back and re-confirm the confirmation. I thought this was amusing, but I still called them back, and told them that yes, nothing has changed, I still want them to come out and look at my roof. One week out, I get a THIRD call from them, asking me to reconfirm. (Reconfirm the reconfirmation of the confirmation!?) I'm fed up by now.

Do they not want my business? I still called back, but got no answer. Now, they're supposed to be here, my appointment time was over an hour ago, but they have stood me up. I guess three confirmations wasn't enough?! WTF!

I called on 5/8 and was told by a person I would receive a call-back to schedule an appt. I did not receive a call, so I e-mailed on 5/13, did receive a callback only to be told the first available appt. would be on 5/23. I could have easily been told of the time frame for roof repair appts. instead of wasting two weeks in my search for a roofer who wants my business, and respects their customers.
